This caught my attention and just gave me a chuckle. I capped it with Jing and thought I’d share:

Al Gore is a danger to all mankind

Al Gore isn’t the only radical environmentalist, however he has become the face of the green movement. He has made himself the mouthpiece and is more than ready to accept all the accalades, but will he be so willing to accept the blame for the consequences of knee-jerk reactionary “solutions” causing greater peril for the World? There are food shortages in foreign nations that are the direct result of Al Gore’s movement. In our country, short-sighted politicians have bought into the Ethanol craze and we are stupid enough to burn food as fuel. Will Al Gore and other moronic environmental terrorists be held responsible for the death and destruction that comes as a result of their hysteria?

I found a link to this great site- a list of all the things supposedly caused by global warming. Or is it cooling? Oh, well, we don’t know so we’ll call it climate change…

Unfreakingbelievable. Something needs to be done to stop these morons.

I am all for reduce, recycle, reuse and keeping air, water, and soil clean. Don’t get me wrong. I just think that first and foremost, we need to think through our solutions. It might also be worth thinking through the problem too…

Clinton, Obama both brain damaged

Posted in Democrats, Liberals, Presidential election on April 24, 2008 by Harry

I think I have stumbled on to why both Clinton and Obama seem incapable of being consistent or honest. They have brain damage that adversely affects their short-term memory. Perhaps it’s even more severe than that. My proof? Neither of them seem to understand that the popular vote does not get you the White House. We have the electoral college process to protect us from popular stupidity. From an AP article on MSNBC:

If numbers don’t lie, the Democratic presidential race is proving they can confuse: Both campaigns claim they are ahead in the popular vote.

The day after her big win in Pennsylvania, Hillary Rodham Clinton said Wednesday that she now has more votes than anybody who has ever run for president in a Democratic primary.

Not so fast, Barack Obama’s campaign manager, David Plouffe, told reporters in a conference call. Obama has a comfortable lead in the popular vote and doesn’t expect to lose it by the time voting ends June 3, Plouffe said.

Texas Arguements Fly in Face of 1st Ammendment

Posted in Conservatives, Liberal Fascism, Liberals on April 19, 2008 by Harry

I’m not sure if it’s just being misreported or perhaps I just don’t pay very close attention, but everything I am reading from the hearings in Texas as to what to do with the 416 kidnapped children smacks of the government trying to infringe on the free practice of religion. I’m not trying to defend the FLDS, rather I see a far greater threat than some lunatics in the desert. When the government starts to infringe on our rights, especially those established in the First Ammendment, unintended effects are far more dangerous for the democracy. If it was possible to make life hell for the pligs without the possibility of later infringing on my rights, I honestly wouldn’t care what happens.

Don’t get me wrong, as soon as they have proof of sexual activity with minors or non-consenting adults (say for instance seminal fluid on the beds in the temple) we start throwing the pervs in jail, but right now all that is happening is that the State is taking away kids because some people don’t like the teachings of the sect. The children are the focal point, rather than the supposed law breakers. If real laws have been broken, let’s see some charges brought against the perps.

Not one Church leader or member to my knowledge has been charged with abuse, sexual misconduct, neglect, child endangerment, or anything more than interference when the police raided the temple. How is it that conditions at the YFZ Ranch are so bad that 416 children should be uprooted, stacked like cord wood in a warehouse, and DNA tested without anyone being charged with any crimes?

From MSNBC:
But Dr. Bruce Perry, a psychiatrist who has studied children in cults, testified that the girls will not refuse marriages because they are indoctrinated to believe disobedience will lead to their damnation.

What Christian Church doesn’t indoctrinate the followers that disobedience will lead to damnation? That doesn’t automatically make them abusive. One could argue that any organized religion is “controlling” and “authoritarian.” More importantly, why is it that these religious zealots are too dangerous to be left alone while Muslims are not only left alone, but encouraged in the name of diversity, despite their abusive and demeaning ways?

Who gets to decide where the line is? If that line keeps moving, how soon before it moves past where your religious beliefs lie? What happens when the Liberal Fascists in Congress decide that those who tithe to a Church and teach their children to do so as well are too controlling of their children? That it’s wrong to teach them that they have to give to the Church to keep God happy? What happens when teaching your child to marry within the religion is too controlling? That you’ve brainwashed them if they choose to? This situation in Texas should strike fear in the heart of any religious person. The line is moving…

The pligs in Texas are NOT Mormons…

Posted in Conservatives, Current Events, Religion on April 12, 2008 by Harry

With so many reports circulating about the Texas raids on the polygamist compound in El Dorado, many of the facts have been getting messed up. The raids were on a separatist religion- the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (FLDS Church). The FLDS Church is to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) what the Protestant Church is to the Catholic Church. Unfortunately, they took on much of the same name, but the fundamentalists are not part of the LDS Church in any way, shape, or form. I would like to think that the association of these abusive, dilusional people with the LDS Church is completely unintentional, but it really makes me suspicious.

I think a lot of news outlets want people to think that the polygamists in Texas, Canada, Arizona, and Utah are part and parcel with the LDS Church, or “the Mormons.” The term Mormon is a slang term that used to be completely derogatory that refers to members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The sect raided in Texas is not composed of members of this Church. In fact, the LDS Church is VERY clear and unequivicol on the issue of polygamy- that it has no place in the Church and those who practice it are not members of the Church.

So why is this getting so much press and why are there so many stories linking the polygamists to the LDS Church? I think it is so that John McCain will not select Mitt Romney as a running mate…We’ll see what comes of this whole mess, but here’s a link to the LDS Church’s newsroom site:
