Please, Obama, quit your bellyaching!!!
Once again, the media is rushing to bash Bush and portray poor Barry Obama as the abused whipping boy in pursuit of the Presidency…(see this pathetic MSNBC article for full slant)
In a speech to Israel’s Knesset, Bush said:
“Some seem to believe that we should negotiate with the terrorists and radicals, as if some ingenious argument will persuade them they have been wrong all along.
We have heard this foolish delusion before. As Nazi tanks crossed into Poland in 1939, an American senator declared: ‘Lord, if I could only have talked to Hitler, all this might have been avoided.’ We have an obligation to call this what it is — the false comfort of appeasement, which has been repeatedly discredited by history.”
Personally, this is one of the more intelligent things I’ve seen quoted by Bush in a long, long time. But poor little Obama took it as a personal attack, leading to the headline “Obama blasts Bush over ‘Nazi’ comments.” Obama’s “blast” was to whine,
“It is sad that President Bush would use a speech to the Knesset on the 60th anniversary of Israel’s independence to launch a false political attack,” Obama said in the statement his aides distributed. “George Bush knows that I have never supported engagement with terrorists, and the president’s extraordinary politicization of foreign policy and the politics of fear do nothing to secure the American people or our stalwart ally Israel.”
It’s not all about you, dip-stick! I did, however, find it amusing that he would take this as a direct shot. Perhaps Bush’s comments hit too close to home for Barak’s comfort. Truth hurts, I guess. Of course, Nancy Pelosi had to take offense as well. Again, it seems the dems are a little defensive about being seen as the passive appeasers they are…
“I think that what the president did in that regard was beneath the dignity of the office of president and unworthy of our representation at that observance in Israel.
I would hope that any serious person would disassociate himself with the president’s remarks…
Nancy shows once again what a lame-duck moron she really is. Where is your plan for reducing gas prices you promised us in the last election?

Bush’s comments and McSame’s support of them were totally blown apart today. Bush is still dumber than a stump. He forgot that Gates and Rice are urging talks with Iran. He forgot that his administration IS already talking to Iran. He forgot that his adminstration is talking to the little flunky in North Korea. He forgot that his administration has talked with Lybia and other terrorist harboring countries. The Israelis probably had a good laugh at Bush afterwards. Why not? The rest of the world is.
McSame is TOAST along with the GOP.

Strap in, kiddies…this is the hate and venom we’re going to get from the Left until November if we chose to disagree with Obama. If he loses to McCain, it’s going to be even worse. I think Sharpton’s bridge shut down and the LA, even Watts Riots will pale in comparison to what the Black Liberation Theologists and Black Victimologists do if Obama loses.
I could give a rat’s ass that the guy is HALF black. That has NOTHING to do with the litany of reasons I won’t consider voting for him. (take a look at the post from the other day when the AP branded all non-Obama voters racists)

Bush’s comments hit a lot of people, even some on the Right. There are plenty of limp noodle peacenicks who fall under the category of appeaser. Mark hit the nail on the head in his comment- “if the shoe fits…” Judging by the kinds of Bush-hating complaints running through the media this morning, there’s a lot of people who think he was talking about them. None of these people can come up with anything other than calling his comments “offensive.” Only someone who belives in appeasement would find them offensive.

I wanted to add something else…
The idea that not talking to people accomplishes something, is false. For the most part, the countries will just go about their business doing whatever they want. The idea that talks are somewhat necessary and important, which the Democrats have said, and is something the administration must kinda agree with…since they have ended up in limited talks with Iran and North Korea. And McCain, when not running election, I guess was willing to talk with Hamas. But of course it’s only when Democrats want talks…it’s called appeasement. And talking does not equal appeasement.
It’s just clear politicization, that I think even Bush must realize is insincere. Besides, I think with the majority of Americans wanting a change both domestically and especially internationally, and how badly things have been handled..I’m surprised anyone gives what Bush says about foreign policy any credence.
